«Oggi la storia» is a Radiotelevisione svizzera RSI radio show. In the form of short episodes, it aims to provide a deeper historical and philosophical insight into various subjects linked to current affairs or anniversaries. The show presents the thoughts, recordings and studies of academics, who, inspired by their daily results, thoughts or other particular reasons, offer a certain view of the present, as well as simultaneously bringing to light its important and real, yet sometimes invisible, connections to the past. Every two weeks since 2012, Sacha Zala, together with other renowned Italian historians and philosophers such as Emilio Gentile, Francesca Rigotti, Tommaso Detti or Fabio Minazzi, receives a «carte blanche». Sacha Zala’s contributions in Italian will periodically be published here, at your disposal, as well as Anna Magdalena Roner’s German translations.
